WGC has been asked to provide 30 corsages and 30 boutonnieres for a RAIN prom. Club members made corsages and boutonnieres for the prom, pre-Covid, and this is an opportunity to be involved again in supporting this worthy organization. RAIN (Richmond Autism Integration Network) serves children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related developmental disabilities. We will be meeting on Thursday, March 23 at 9:30 at the church (Tuckahoe Presbyterian Church, 7000 Park Ave.) to make these. The process is very simple. The corsages are constructed with one carnation backed by a piece of fern and they have a small bow; the boutonnieres are the same without the bow. They don’t require any particular skill. Directions will be provided.
